This adapter gives your Smith and Wesson 500 revolver the ability to fire 9mm Luger ammunition.  This adapter is precision machined from high quality stainless steel to the OD specifications of  a 500 S&W Magnum cartridge.  It will easily fit into your revolvers cylinder and accept any 9MM Luger ammunition.  After firing simply remove the adapter and tip upside down to remove the spent 9mm shell.  A smooth bore is gently bored through the adapter for the bullet  (no rifling).  The adapter is precision CNC machined to the exact cartridge dimensions of a 500S&W cartridge (SAAMI specifications).  

Adapter orientation is not important and the adapter will  work in any position.
