This adapter gives your 44 Magnum single or double action revolver the ability to fire 9MM Luger standard velocity ammunition.  This adapter is precision machined from high quality stainless steel to the OD specifications of  a 44 Magnum cartridge (also referred to as 44 Remington Magnum).  It will easily fit into your revolvers cylinder and accept any 9mm Luger ammunition.  After firing simply remove the adapter and tip upside down to remove the spent 9mm shell.  A smooth bore is gently bored through the adapter for the bullet  (no rifling).  The adapter is precision CNC machined to the exact cartridge dimensions of a 44 MAGNUM cartridge (SAAMI specifications).   No +P high power ammunition, just standard FMJ (full metal jacket) 9mm ammunition. 

Adapter orientation is not important and the adapter will  work in any position.
